Horse Service International uses Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as its 'gateway to Europe'. Of course, we also make use of other airports such as those in Luxembourg, Frankfurt and Paris. Most of the horses we transport stay in the so-called 'Animal Hotel' at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol before departure or after arrival. Horse Service International employs qualified staff members who are stationed here. They supervise the final checks carried out by the veterinarian and the customs authorities. An employee is always present at the loading and unloading of the horses. He or she can take immediate action if necessary.
Further transport from the Animal Hotel to any destination in Europe or, if necessary, to a quarantine station, will be arranged for horses who arrive at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
